ShoreCut Lawn Service is a veteran owned, family operated lawn service and landscaping company serving Charleston and the barrier islands since 2023.
Dylan May spent eight years on active duty in the Marine Corps and kept working in landscaping the entire time, on top of eighteen years total in the trade. ShoreCut Lawn Service is what came out of that: a veteran owned, fully licensed and insured company built on the same standard he held to in the Marine Corps, applied to lawns instead.
ShoreCut now works with more than two hundred residential and commercial clients across Charleston and the barrier islands, running mowing, trimming, landscape design, sod, mulch, fertilization, aeration and seasonal cleanups on a schedule built around what the Lowcountry actually needs each season. We do not take on hardscaping, but for everything else a property needs above the ground, our crews are on it.
The schedule shifts with the seasons on purpose. Fall and winter are built around leaf and debris cleanup. Spring is built around new sod, new planting and mowing picking back up. Residential and commercial clients are both part of the regular route, and most of our business comes from people who found us once and kept us on.
